Port BT number

Just switched to Virgin after moving house. BT number from old house should have been ported to Virgin but was not. Each time I ask for the port it is rejected as BT say there is a postcode mismatch. I have tried using the old address post code and my new address postcode and both are rejected. Contacted BT and they have the correct postcode. BT say contact Virgin and Virgin say contact BT, so I’m not getting anywhere - can anyone help?

Sorry to hear you are having this issue getting your landline ported over to us, I would like to be able to help with this, for me to do so I will need to confirm some information in a quick private message.
