Hi, I currently have a VM landline phone via traditional phone socket.
I wanted to connect a second landline to my router upstairs so I have a phone there too.
I plugged a phone in to the hub with an adapter but it doesn't work. Having looked in router settings it says telephony disabled.
Can this service be activated for me? If so will my phone downstairs continue to work?
Many thanks.

Hey @jp20040_5,
Welcome to the community and thanks for taking the time to post your issue on the forums.
We would need to get your services migrated over to have your phone via the hub but once this is done, you will no longer be able to use the line via your wall socket as you cannot use both types of line. We can however arrange for extensions to be installed in your home as part of the changeover. Would you like me to get this arranged for you?
You can find more information about the changeover and phone service here and a page on the forum about the changeover here.

No problem at all @jp20040_5, there is a changeover in progress at the moment across our network, we will advise you when its the turn of your area to go ahead with the changeover, you will be notified well in advance of this going ahead, there is no date for this listed on the system yet or I would have been able to confirm that for you today.
