Phone switchover

On our wavelength

We had an engineer out yesterday to change over the phone to fibre. He was here ages as it was not connecting. In the end he said he would leave and ring us back later. He did call but this was way after he said he would call and I was on the phone to VM.

VM said the connection date and engineer visit was today, not yesterday. I told them the engineer visited yesterday but I could not get this through to the person at VM. In the end she said it would be working from midnight last night (Wed). Thursday morning has arrived and still no working phone. How long should the switchover take? I’m dreading having to call VM again as it’s always so painful! Thanks.

So sorry to hear you're facing issues with the new digital phone line. I can imagine how you feel after being told several different things.
