Phone switch over

Does anyone know when / if Virgin are planning to changeover landline phones in the Cardiff area, I am a cable user (Co-ax I think), and the phone is connected seperately to the broadband hub. I believe the UK government have decided to switch off all PSTN by the end of 2025.
