Phone still not working cannot grt through

I have had no phone for about 2 weeks. I have rung virgin on my mobile phone and been holding for hours at a time. I managed to get through yesterday after around 45 minutes , unfortunately I had to be transferred and I then waited over an hour . In the end I put the phone down.

If you are struggling to contact them via phone then VM are recommending you send a text to 07533 051809 describing the issue and you should get a response. This is a text only service, it does not support voice calls.

Or you can wait for one of the forum team to get to this thread, which could take several days as they are currently very busy.

Welcome to the forums and thank you for taking the time to post. 

 

I am sorry to hear that you have had some issues with your landline, would you please expand a little on this?

  • Are you able to make any outgoing calls?
  • Are you able to receive any incoming calls? 
  • Is your phone connected to the hub (21CV) or via the normal socket? 
  • Are you able to try an alternative handset?

Hi I cannot make or receive calls. There is no tone at all on the phone. When someone tries to call me they hear the phone ringing but no ringing this end
