My father-in-law passed away recently and Virgin advised that we closed the account in his name and start a new account in my mother-in-laws.
We did this and we were told that the old phone number would be transferred to the new account. It's been over a month now and she's still on the 'temporary number' and the old phone number has not been reconnected.
Further to this, the old phone worked through the physical phone line in the house. This has 3 phones connected to it throughout the house. Since the new account was activated, the phone only works when plugged into the router (even though its the same equipment).
Shes in her 70's and wants things back to normal so her friends can call her and she can answer any of her phones again!
