Phone number - keeping old number

I’m also having this issue. Transferred from Virgin within the same home (moved into my mums old house) to virgin and wanted to keep the number. It’s been 2 weeks still not reverted to the old number. Help please!

Re: Phone number - keeping old number

Hi there @LauraF94

Thank you so much for your first post to our community forums and welcome to the team, it's great to have you here.

I am so sorry that you have faced this issue with your recent move and number port.

Can I ask if you were given a date for the number port to be completed? Can I also ask if you have been able to check that the number is still active?

Just to clarify was the account with us that the number is being ported from?

Re: Phone number - keeping old number

Hiya!

No, I was not given a date but in the instructions it said it can take up to 10 days for a number to be pulled over. It’s now been over 2 weeks.

The number was a Virgin number in the same house (we moved into my mums old house and she was the previous account holder for the same address) and when I try to call it it says this number is not recognised!

Many thanks

Laura

Thank you for clarifying for us @LauraF94. I'd be happy to take a closer look into this with you via a PM.

I will pop you a PM across now, please keep an eye out for the purple envelope in the top right corner of your screen alerting you to a new message.
