Phone not working

Service status test "inconclusive".

Have unplugged phone, and changed device.

Internet working ok.

Has been reported by family member on their mobile.

Please help asap.

I'm really sorry that you're having an issue with your landline, I can appreciate this isn't ideal. 

Did the family member who contacted us get any advice or has an engineer been booked? 

If not and it's still an issue then let us know and we can have a closer look via a personal message.

Emma, thanks for response to my post and your welcome.

Have sent you a PM with more details.

Please help asap as I don't own a mobile, and need my phone in case of emmergencies + daily use/needs.

No engineer has been booked as far as I know.

btw my internet seems a lot slower as well eg google, but maybe that's just a coincidence, and not my priority right now.

Disappointed not to get any further response from anyone at Virgin today.

Tried live chat, but was sent away because of some technical/maintenance issues.

Hope someone bothers to get in touch tomorrow (Wednesday).

It shouldn't be this difficult to report a fault, and get it seen to.

Over 48 hours since I lost my phone service and no further along.

Sorry to hear about the downtime with your telephone service 

Have you been able to get this working now?

If not p[lease let me know. 

If it is let me now anyway. 

This way I can make sure you are not being charged for the downtime

Thanks for your reply, and offer to help.

My phone is now working again. They managed to sort it out when I returned to online chat the next day. I was told it was "an issue on the network", whatever that means?

It's a shame they couldn't deal with it there and then when it was first reported by my family member on their mobile. Do you know why that is? I was told that they were actually quite unhelpful.

I have another long-running saga that I will send you a PM about when I get the time, over the weekend hopefully. I've been going round in circles with customer services - phone/online chat and it's been very frustrating, to say the least.
