Hi I have just had my virgin TV Broadband and phone installed and I cannot make out going calls, I can receive incoming calls, does it take a few days for the phone line to swap over. I am 84 and need the line for my lifeline. Can anyone help please

Are you able to confirm the following: Is the phone plugged into the wall or hub? What happens when you try to make an outgoing call, do you hear a tone or err message?
The phone line is plugged into the hub, there is no tone when you try to dial out, but you can call in
