Phone line terrible crackling

Hi,

Had our phone line with you for many years now and had no problems.

But the last few months there is a crackling noise on the line that has now gotten so bad we can barely here anyone on it anymore.

I've checked all the connections, even plugging in a wired phone and the problem is still there.

Can we get some help Virgin?

I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your landline at the moment. I have looked into this and have refreshed your phone line on the network. 

Please can you test your line again and let me know if that has made any difference?

In fact we're not even always getting a dial tone anymore!
