My land line hasn’t been working for several months now. I’ve gone through the process of checks. The landline is now connected directly into the main socket but still with no dial tone. Having read many community feeds I see that this has been happening a lot recently. Could I please book an engineer to take a look. I’m aware of the £25 charge if I’m found to be responsible.

We're sorry to hear your landline has been non-operational for such a long time - we'd love to best assist with this as soon as we possibly can 🙂
As you've already advised there's no dial tone and your handset connects directly on the wall socket I will send you a private message to run a few more checks and see how we can best sort this out. If we detect a fault on the service we will book you in for a faults visit which is cost-free for our customers, so no worries about being charged for this.
