Phone line not working

 

The phone line is not working. There is no dial up and we can't phone out or others phone us. This started during/after Storm Bella. I bought a new landline phone and it still doesn't work and this new phone states to checkphone line. Have tested the line several times using Virgin's quick test, it says no fault found. Any suggestions would be handy.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. My apologies for the dial tone issue. Is it fixed since last night? If not, I've ran some diagnostics here, everything looks fine on the system.

 

Are you plugged into the master socket? It will have a larger socket and contain a logo off Virgin Media, NTL, Telewest or Nynex. Any extension sockets will be smaller and have no logo.
