Phone line dead

Hi - the phone line’s completely dead. Spoke to an engineer on the street who suggested we update our hub and connect our phone line through that. Any ideas on where to start with this? Can’t find The correct telephone number to call. Or can I organise this online?

Welcome to our community and thanks for posting. Sorry to hear that you have no working landline, can we ask if you have tried another handset in the master socket at all?

 

Also if you have any extension sockets plugged in are you able to remove these and try just the one handset?

 

Please check the link here  on how to diagnose phone faults.

 

If you have no dial tone after trying the above we will need to book a technicians visit for you.

 

Please can you try the above and get back to us for further help?

Hello!

Yes, tried all that. It's been dead for around six months now. We also need to have our internet checked as it's very slow, and we'd love a booster connection for our office.

If you have tried the diagnostics and still have no dial tone we will need to book an appointment for you. 

 

I have done this now with the details you have provided form your community profile and booked an appointment for you.

 

You can check your date and time by logging on to your online Virgin Media account here  if this appointment is not convenient you can reschedule and cancel if no longer needed.
