Last week I spent 2 days talking to a variety of people at Virgin media about my landline suddenly losing caller id. I was told that everything their end was ok, they disconnected and reconnected and that the fault was my phone. I went and bought new phones but the problem is still there, message on the phone says subscribe to caller id. Recently engineer's were working in the cabinet near me. Is this just a coincidence?.
Looks like I'd better find another provider as I am losing patience with Virgin media.

I have looked into this and raised it with our second line faults team as the feature has been correctly applied to your line but there seems to be a further issue with it that needs to be looked into further.
