Phone adapter cable too short following switchover

Switchover has been completed but due to essential location of hub the phone adapter is far too short. Can virgin send a replacement adapter to that I can put my phone in an accessible location? Need one that is a minimum of 1.5m. Otherwise phone is useless as hub is on top of a wardrobe in the bedroom!

We'd love to assist you with this issue, sorry to see your landline and hub are currently located too far from each other and you need longer cables - our adaptors come in one size however we could look into arranging an equipment relocation for either the phone or the hub if that's suitable.

We could also send out longer cables (coax) to use and move your hub closer to the handset if that's more convenient, please let us know which of the above is to your preference and we'll be eager to help out.

Use BT style of Telephone Extension cable, they  are available in many retailer & online.


Thanks for your response however I didn’t choose to swap to fibre and don’t see why I should pay to adapt my equipment to accommodate this change. I have already had to move my phones base handset from the lounge into the bedroom where it is inaccessible. Just need virgin to provide the cable so that I can move my phone down to a more convenient height. Appreciate you taking the time to offer options though.

Hi I believe I need a BT to RJ11 extension cable so that I can leave the hub in its current location and ensure the handset can stretch far enough to be located in a more convenient spot. Would it be possible to send one out?
