For the past two months I have had a number of charges on the phone account all below the threshold for itemisation.
this month their are 17 calls.
the phone is not used within the household unless in emergency and I know these calls have not been made.
Can anyone suggest how I can get this investigated by virgin media.

Hi @Crowjam88
Thanks for your post!
Sorry to hear about the issue with your landline, have you noticed if these calls are coming from certain numbers?

They are supposedly outgoing calls and all below the threshold for itemisation.
As the phone is used only in emergency in the house these calls are a surprise.
historically we had our number spoofed and were receiving lots of calls on answer phone from people complaining about calls.
could this be happening again?
if so how can we address this. I do not want to be charged for calls we are not making.

Does your phone connect via a conventional telephone master wall socket or does the line come via the back of VM hub?
In the case of a conventional wall socket, a 'crossed line' is often put forward as an explanation. The issue can also occur on phone lines provided via the VM hub but is less commonplace.
