I want to remove the withheld number feature from my line, as explained on the VM website I called customer services, but was past from pillar to post. After speaking to 4 people I was told no such feature exists, then they said it did but was impossible to remove and I had to dial 1470 before each call.
Thanks for using the forums to get this feature removed, I am sorry that you haven't had the help you needed from the customer services for this. I can confirm we can deal with this here after passing data protection questions in a PM, which I will send now 🙂
Hello. Please can you help me to have this feature removed from my elderly sisters virgin media line. She is elderly and yesterday both me and her spent more than one hour on the phone to virgin media doing stupid things, like can you call your mobile number, whilst we were talking to the virgin media specialist! Eventually, we were passed on to the technical team, no less, who after a lot of toing and froing said there was nothing wrong at virgin media and problem must be our phone and that we must take our phone to a shop and have it unblocked!
