I currently have my landline plugged into a telephone socket and the cable is damaged. Am I able to plug the landline into my Hub 3? If so, do I need an adaptor? Does it matter which telephone handset I am using?
No. Your situation will treated as a normal fault by VM. When you say cable I take it you mean the telephone circuit cable and not the phone cable itself. The use of the Hub is reserved for new connections and for a small number of customers who are being transitioned in a phased program. All will be moved over by 2025
For your interest - same phone, will need an adaptor.
