I'm a newbie to the community. I am having no luck in trying to get my problem resolved. I have been over a week now with not being able to use my home telephone. I have run status checks, followed everything step by step, the test runs keep saying there's no fault on my line.
I have no dial tone, I just have non stop crackling. I have even taken the panel off the socket & tried the test there nothing, still says there's no fault.
I tried booking an engineer through my virgin media but it keeps kicking me out saying the link is broken or I typed in incorrect information, when I thave typed in the correct information.
There is no live chat so I can't book an engineer through that.
I have use of a friends mobile at the moment only for emergencies as I am one of the at risk groups for Covid 19 with underlying health issues. My telephone is my lifeline.
Can anybody advise what I can do next as I feel that I am out of options?
Oh & I am not very technically minded. Something easy to follow would be good.
