Number Port

Hi, I am trying to port the virgin home phone number over to another provider but they are telling me that the current provider has blocked the port (Virgin). 

Having read some things online, will this be because 30 days notice to cancel has already been given?

If so, can someone from the Virgin Team please get in touch and help me resolve this. 

It is for my elderly mothers account and she really doesnt want to change her phone number.

Thank you for posting on our Community Forum page.

 

I'm sorry to hear that there's been a few issues with trying to port your landline number to another provider. I can confirm that if you have provided your 30 days notice to us, this should not affect any requested port and the port should still go through, as long as the landline service is still active with us.
