No ring tone

No dialling tone on the landline. Previously had cordless phones but brought a cheap wired phone thinking cordless phones were the trouble but still have no ringtone. Done what someone else was advised about using the test socket within the phone socket but still no joy.

Sorry to hear of the landline issues experienced, we appreciate you taking the time to raise this via the forums and welcome to the community. 

Do you use the landline via a wall socket or the back of the Hub? If so, are you also experiencing any broadband issues? Is there no dial tone across both handsets?
