No phone signal

Hi, I've just come to use the phone and it's silent. Incoming calls don't make a sound.

Pretty sure it worked on installation.

Is it linked to BT at all - had big problem with them ceasing service.

Sorry to hear of any phone issues. 

Have you plugged the phone directly/via adapter into the telephone port one on the router?

Yes it is plugged in by engineer into hub.

Thanks for coming back and confirming that for us. 

In order to help look at this, there are a few checks we will need to go through with you. Can you let me know the following please:

  • As you're connected through the Hub can you ensure the adapter is plugged in correctly and then reboot the hub? I know you've mentioned that the engineer did this but the connection may have come loose since installation.
  • Do you have an alternative handset you can try in the Hub to see if this works?
  • Do you have any landline extensions? If so are you having the same issue on those lines too?

If you can come back and let me know the answers to the above. It's possible we may need to get an engineer out to you so please ensure you come back to us here 🙂
