Apparently, someone did turn up but could not get access. I question how could they not gain access?
I was in the house from noon - 4pm and was looking out from a room with a view onto the street.
No one turned up.
No one rang my bell.
No one called on the phone, neither the landline or the mobile. Why not? It's not as if Virgin don't have both my numbers as you provide the service and I got 4 text messages checking I still wanted the appointment.
I had a delivery from Ocado during that time and they called me on the phone, so I was able to receive calls even if the line was crackling.
If you miss or prevent installation or maintenance from being carried out at a time we have agreed - with you in advance, or if you fail to tell us that an appointment is no longer required by 12pm on the day before the appointment, you may be charged a missed appointment fee. From March 2019 you will be required to tell us at least 24 hours before the appointment or you may be charged.
