No landline dial tone since yesterday. Has the change over from wall socket connection to modem adapter connection happen in my area that I’m unaware of?

Hi Lynn1102022,

Thanks for coming back to us on this.

If you've received an adapter then it's likely the switchover has happened. We're sorry you had no prior warning.

You can find the instructions on how to connect your landline to your hub here

Please let us know if you continue to have any issues.

Thanks,

A fault was mentioned on your earlier topic yesterday

https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Home-Phone/no-landline-dial-tone/m-p/5145500

have you checked the service status pages or used the service status number 0800 561 0061 from a mobile to check if the fault is still in place?

Hey Lynn11102022, thanks for posting on our help forum today,

Sorry to see you're facing an issue with your landline at the minute, we'd usually send a letter or email to advise of the landline service migration to line via fibre well in advance.
Could you please check the email/letter communication we've sent in the past 2 months to see if we've advised on any changes to how your landline connects to our network?
(please, also have a look into spam/junk folders too)

Also, have you received an adaptor from us via Royal Mail recently?
Let us know of the above and we're happy to assist further.
