No landline signal or tone

Vm app says no service issues in my area but I have no landline dial tone. Cables and handset all fine. Can't ring 150 because I can't ring out at all. I've not been switched to digital yet. Phone line been clicking and crackling for a few days but it's gone altogether today

Hi @Jackiecollins

Thanks for posting and welcome back to the community.

Very sorry to hear of the phone line issue.

I've done a status check here and it shows this;

You might find that your Virgin Fibre, Voice and Virgin TV services are intermittent, with the picture freezing or disappearing now and then. We are sorry and our engineers are working hard to resolve this for you.

F011077004 - fault reference.

The estimated fix date for this is the 24th. Hopefully fixed sooner for you.

Best wishes.

Thanks John. This was a different fault from the TV one. Initially your team were sending out an engineer but then realised there was a general fault with landlines in my area. It may have been connected. It was resolved the same day at the tv one.

Hi Jackiecollins 👋

Thanks for coming back to us. The advised fault would have been an identified issue over all three services (Broadband, TV and Phone).

I'm glad to hear things are now resolved. Please do let us know if you have any further issues or queries, and we'll be more than happy to help.

Cheers,

Reece - Forum Team
