No intermittent tone to inform me I have new messages on voicemail

On my landline I have no intermittent tone when I have new messages.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue! Is this a recent issue that you noticed? How long has it been ongoing for?

 

I was able to locate your account using the forum details and I cannot see any area issues that could be impacting your service. 

Have you recently rebooted your Hub? Has this resolved your issue at all?

 

Do you have an external voicemail machine, or just the voicemail that is included?

 

Please let me know so I can look into this further for you.

Hi,
Just noticed it yesterday as there was a new message on voicemail that I didn’t know about from a few weeks ago. This is the voicemail that is included with virgin phone. Rebooted the hub and tried a different handset. Still no intermittent tone.

Can you try calling your landline and leaving a test voicemail to see if the intermittent tone shows up?

I have received a response from my colleague who has been looking into this issue. We have passed this issue onto our second line diagnostic team to investigate this further.

 

They should be in touch with you in the next 48 hours with a resolution.

Helpful Answer

All sorted now. The answer phone feature had to be uninstalled and set up again after a few hours.
