Hi David

its Tuesday evening and still no one can get through to my landline either by mobile or their landline.

Bearing in mind the problem was happening before someone suggested I use the forum and that I phoned 150 numerous times to get help; I really am struggling now to understand why your people are not managing to put it right. After all, before one of your telephone people directed me in re-booting, I was getting calls from mobiles only. Now neither mobile or landline.

I am a pensioner who needs a working phone and I am losing patience rapidly.

Hi ceils,

 

It looks like the routing issue is still undergoing some work and is estimated to be fixed at 8:00am 24th February 2020. 

 

In the meantime, you won't receive any calls from any non-Virgin Media numbers, I'm afraid.

 

Please let us know if you can receive any calls after the date given above and keep us updated.

Thank you for replying.  As I said before, I did receive calls from other landlines (but not mobiles) until I was told to reboot. Then no longer. So it’s got worse after trying to get help.

This is a ridiculous situation and we should have been notified if it was a work issue.  If it is a fault they are trying to rectify , then another 5 days on top of time already passed, it’s really not customer friendly.

I am now looking at compensation for the whole time my phoneline has been faulty.  Please advise on this.

I'm sure our team are working to get this resolved as soon as possible.

 

Any loss of service credit will be in line with OFCOM guidelines which you can see via this link: https://virginmedia.com/Ofcom

At last!  My phone is now taking incoming calls!  Only from this afternoon though. What a wait. Bad service
