No dialtone on landline phone - not working at all
My parents who are elderly & vulnerable do not have a working home phone. The phone line is dead and their router is flashing green. They have tried the usual restarts but no success and been without a phone service since yesterday evening.
I called Virgin Media on 2 separate occasions today on their behalf and after been on hold for 55 minutes both times. I eventually spoke with someone who advised it would require an onsite engineer to fix. Trouble is, the first available slot is next Monday 16th!!!
My parents are obviously worried about not having a phone service as am I for this length of time. Can anyone offer any advice on how I can escalate this to Virgin Media? I can't bring myself to call VM again after two hours of my time spent in a queue 😫.
