No dial tone

No dial tone, and I can’t dial in. Either silence or snow when I try to call out.  Engaged tone when I try to dial in.

I’ve checked connections and changed phones with no effect.

Virgin service status says there aren’t any issues.

I cannot seem to talk to anyone at VM, and can’t find a way to register the fault.  

Call centre directs me to the website - website directs me to the call centre.

Please, can someone tell me how I can get some help?

Hi PhilRJ,

 

Thanks for posting on the community forums, I'm sorry to hear you've been having some problems with your landline service.

 

I've arranged for an engineer to come and look at this, as there doesn't seem to be any faults in the area that could be causing the issues. Please find your allocated time slot via your online account here. It can also be rearranged from there if needed.

 

Let us know if you need anything else.

Thanks Beth,  it has since fixed itself.  No change on my end so who knows what the issue was.  I have cancelled the engineer visit but thanks for booking.
