No dial tone

Good afternoon,

On Thursday, I requested that our landline number be changed, as, my elderly father had been receiving a large proportion of scam calls - this was causing undue stress. Since then, we haven't had a dial tone - we were advised that the new number would be in place within 24 hours - that would have been yesterday!

I have tried contacting customer services, but, being put on hold for 30 minutes with continuous music being blasted at me, was getting annoying. I understand that things are a bit hectic at the moment, but, the landline is a necessity to my father.

 

Can you please help?

Sorry to hear of this. The no dial tone and number change shouldn't be affecting each other as two different things.
