No dial tone

Hi,

I have no dial tone on my land line, so can't call out. When I call the phone from my mobile, I hear ringing on the phone I'm dialling from, but the house phone doesn't ring. It is plugged directly into the phone box on the wall that I've used for years.

Have tried a completely different handset with the same problem.

I've tried the test from the status page, but it doesn't work.

I'm wondering if this has been a problem since I upgraded my package a few weeks back. I don't use the phone that often so can't be sure, but it's possible. I have also tried plugging directly into the back of my new Hub 3.0 with an rj11 to rj11 cable, and that doesn't work either, but then I don't think I have changed to the new IP system. Was just testing, just in case.

Thanks for the post 

Sorry to hear you are having an issue with the landline

Just a quick question before we look into this in more detail

Have you tired an alternative handset in the socket

What I have done is book an engineer to come out and have a look 

The appointment is viewable on your online account  

You can reschedule if its not suitable
