No dial tone on landline

There is no dial tone on our landline. First noticed it yesterday. Tested with two different phones this morning - same result. Service status isn't reporting an issue in our area. I would like an engineer visit but the 'book a visit' link sends me in circles. Help please!

I am very sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with the landline service.

 

From your post, it sounds like you have done all the correct checks in testing the handset and checking the service status page. 

As you have not been able to identify the cause or resolve the issue we will need to take a look from our side and potentially arrange a technician visit.

The Virgin Media engineer failed to keep the appointment today. We still have no landline after more than a week.
