No dial tone after switchover

Engineer came today to sort out switchover and was told me that the hub would be rebooted by Virgin and the phone line should be working by this afternoon.  No phone line all afternoon at all.  No dial tone, no green phone icon on phone - nothing

Please help.

Have spoken to Virgin and was told would be up and running by 9pm tonight and if not working to phone 150 and they would look into the issue. Still no phone line, tried phoning Virgin and went through all their rigmarole to only be told they were closed and were open again tomorrow morning at 8am. So much for open until 10pm. So no phone and no way of contacting Virgin as their website is now down as well. What a shambles. Please help me.
