I have a single phone connected directly into the phone socket.
Incoming calls – the number appears on the screen but the phone does not ring.
Outgoing calls - There is no dialling tone but it looks like I can phone out.
I have tried both incoming and outgoing calls with a second phone (I purchased one specially) but with the same result.
Service status checked OK.
I’ve only come on this forum because there appears to be no other messaging service / web chat. And Virgin Media Landline help and support just takes me around in a loop.

The engineer was booked for the 21st July but on 14th July I received a txt from Virgin Media saying “We’ve put your service visit on hold while we investigate a network problem affecting your services. We’ll update you when this is fixed.” I can now receive incoming calls (the phone rings) and I can make outgoing calls. There is still no dialling tone though but maybe that doesn’t matter. I’ve received no update as in the txt.

I will send you over a private message to look into that for you.
Cheers,
Ryan.
