No Dial tone

Checked with alternative (known good) handset.

Been offline for over a week now.

Help line number not responding - suggestions?

I am sorry to hear that you have had no dial tone on your landline. 

 

I have taken the opportunity to book an engineer visit for you, you can view the time and date by logging into your My virgin media account.

It is a possibility that the handset was a fault, this is why we do ask customers to check if swapping the handset works.  Please do let us know how the engineer visit goes.

Hello
Technician (Nick) arrived as promised today - and fixed the issue.
Root cause was a line fault at the exchange - which he addressed rapidly.
Whilst on site, Nick also tuned the broadband connection, so double good result!
