No Dial tone on landline

Hi, 

I just received new HUB 5. When i plug in my landline there is no dialling tone and cannot phone out.

Phone and connections are fine.

Connected to internet  no problem.

Anyone able to give some advice?

Sorry to hear of the landline issues experienced since the change of how the landline work and the Hub 5, we appreciate you taking the time to post this via the forums and welcome to the community.

 

Can you confirm the following for us please:

 

  • The landline is now connected using the adapter received into the hub
  • The adapter is connected to the TEL1 port on the back of the hub
  • What make and model the handset is
  • If you have tried a different handset (if possible)

Hi Robert,

Thanks for replying so promptly.

1. There was no adaptor sent with the hub

2. My own adaptor is connected into TEL1 port

3 BT Cordless with docking station.

4 Don't have another handset to hand.

It was working perfectly fine with the old HUB i had.

Thank for getting back to me Temple1, everything appears to be set up correctly, I will send you a Private Message to get some more details from you so keep an eye out for the envelope in the top right when signed into the forums.
