I am having issues with my phone line, I have carried out the 'run test' but it cannot find the exact fault and says to ring. I have tried this but cannot get a reply, understandable in this current situation we are in.
My phone line is dead, there is no dial tone at all, it is plugged into a wall socket, I have tried it in a different socket, but still no dial tone. I have tried my neighbours phone in and still no dial tone, both our neighbours phones and lines work okay.
Our broadband and TV seem to be fine, the service status says there are no issues with the phones, so suspect it may need an Engineer/Technician to visit, unless there is anything else I can try.
The Virgin Media Engineer turned up this morning as planned, carried out some checks and found the fault was on the line to our local exchange box from the main exchange. this was quickly rectified and our phone is now working again, Could not ask for a better service along with a good friendly Engineer
