Tried dialling out, no dial tone, tried dialling in, does not ring. Tried wired handset in master socket and no connection.
Logged in and ran test on phone line, no faults recorded.
Called 0333 000 3101 as instructed, went through various menus only to be advised to go online and will sent me a link, already done this. Can't dial 150 as no landline!?
Will try calling again tomorrow if not working. Service industry can't blame Covid-19 for everything and not providing 24 hour support.
Internet and TV both working
Good Morning billiusmaximus
Welcome to the forums and thank you for taking the time to post.
I am sorry to hear that you have had some issues with your landline there.
Do you know if there are any known area issues? You can find out here and by calling 0800 561 0061 the number will give you a more post code specific issue.
Checked service status on line and on the phone number provided, no faults found.
Trying to call in the call immediately disconnects, no ringing tone.
Now holding for an operator, up to 9 minutes so far....one step further than last night when I wasn't given the option of an operator.
Took the face plate off of the master socket this morning and plugged 'wired' phone into test socket, still nothing at all.
Thank you for coming back to me.
I am going to drop you a PM so that we can take a further look into this.
Managed to get through to the call centre, about 35 minutes, tests run and engineer booked for tomorrow.
Hopefully this will resolve the issue. 🙂
