No Caller ID after engineer visit

Hi 

Virgin engineer called Monday to fix landline fault, no dialling tone (original problem  not receiving or could phone out) After checking phone engineer said that he needed to make a call to get a couple of wires changed over at the exchange ? He came back ten minutes later checked phone and it seemed to be working OK...Later we received a couple of calls and noticed that the display said "incoming call" and not the name of the person phoning...Tried it with my mobile same thing... The Caller ID worked OK prior to engineers visit just wondering if he's tweeked the wrong wires...

Oh I can make and receive calls OK but no dialling tone...

How do I get my Caller ID back please ?

Can we please confirm if you still need assistance with this?

 

It may be that following the fix the caller display would need reapplying to the line, sorry for any inconvenience if still needed we can go through security and add this for you over private message.

Thanks for the response still having problem have no caller id, how do I get onto private message...
