Hi
When our 2nd engineer arrived to reconfigure the hub and phones (to swap from landline to fibre) he said the existing wired phone network in my house (4 wired phones) would still work. It did for 1 day and now does not. Can you please arrange another visit to sort this?

Hi exVMemploy,
Welcome back to the community and thanks for taking the time to post.
I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your landline at the moment, what is the exact problem that you're having with your existing wired phone network?
Do you have dial tone on of the handsets? Is the main base unit attached to your router?
Kind Regards,

Thanks Steven
The main phone base unit is connected to the hub via a phone extension cable with 2 ports. The engineer then ran a second cable from the second port on the extension cable to the wired phone port (that then networks to the rest of the house and the 4 wired phones). It worked when he was here but stopped almost immediately he had left.

In what way is the connection not working (no dial tone, no ringing etc.?)
The REN number for the hub's phone connection is 3 so if you have 4 wired phones plus a cordless base you might be connecting up to a REN of 5.
