I have been notified that my landline is being switched to the fibre network and have received my adaptor. I have been given a switchover date of 28 June but will be away on a break at that time. Can I connect my adaptor and phone into the hub before the 28 June (i.e. as I head off on my break) or wait until I return from my break? Or do I need a new switchover date to fit with when I shall be around?

Incidentally as directed by the Virgin literature I rang 150 with my query and gave up trying to find an option which would result in my speaking to a real person. Very frustrating!

Welcome back to our Community Forums and thanks for your post 🙂

I have checked our systems and the switch over will be done remotely so it shouldn't make a difference if you connect the adapter just before you leave ready for migration or on return.
