My phone cannot make outgoing calls, nor can or next door neighbour.

Hi

I live at number 55 and my neighbour lived at number 53. We are both Virgin customers and have problems with our landlines. The green junction box is number 15.

I am sorry to hear that you have had some issue with your landline services. 

 

Are you able to let me know if there is anything listed service status page ?

 

If not please could you let me know how you are connected to your landline?  Is it via the traditional wall socket or via the hub?

Hi

Both my neighbour's phone and my phone are connected via a wall socket.

I ran the Service Status from your site and it says there are no issues with the phone. Because my neighbour's phone stopped working at the same time I am presuming that the problem lies with the junction box as it has done previously.

Are you having issues calling specific numbers, or all numbers? Are you able to receive calls at all? Do you have an active dial tone?

Hi Paulina

I have just tried a different handset which works so it looks like the problem lies with my current handset. Next door neighbours also tell me that yo have fixed theirs. So thanks.
