My landline phone is not working

Since 20.30 last night my landline phone has been completely dead. I can't ring 150 for help with this as i don't have a mobile. How can go about getting this fixed?

We can understand the inconvenience caused and we want to best help. I have had a look into your service and I can see you may be experiencing a local fault. You might find that you don't have any Virgin Fibre, Voice, or Interactive Virgin TV services at the moment. We are sorry about this and are working hard to restore your services as soon as possible.

The current estimated fix time is 02/12/2022 16:00. If the issue persists after this time, please let us know and we will run further tests.

Thank you Akua_A for getting back to me about this issue.

As far as i know there was some kind of traffic accident last night that damaged the box that controls the broadband, tv, and the phone. At the moment the tele and broadband are now working again, but my landline phone is still dead. I shall wait until later the estimated time that you have given for the complete fix and hope that the phone will be working again by then.

I have had a look into your service and everything seems to be in working order. To further help, are you able to further expand on the landline issues you are having? Also, is your landline connected via a hub or wall connection?

i'm not getting a dialtone like the op

if someone phones they can'y connect and i don't get a ring on the phone

it is a cordless panasonic. was working fine yesterday. no error messages on the screen. tried powering off and on again

I've still got no landline phone working (it's totally dead) also, while this is still the case i can't purchase anything online like food etc because my bank run security checks and they phone needing a 4 digit code to be given for the transaction to go through, and if they can't reach me they'll think it's suspicious and think some kind of fraud is happening and stop my card. So i need my phone fixed as soon as possible, and not have to wait until next Friday the 9th until it can be looked at and possibly fixed. Also, i can't see any sign of an engineers appointment booked on my Virgin account.
