Moving house no telephone socket

Moving into a new house that’s currently had work done, however there are no phone sockets inside the house. I have an engineer coming on the 16th to transfer over my virgin. Is this a problem or will they just put a new phone line in? Thanks in advance!

Re: Moving house no telephone socket

It won't matter as all new installs use the Hub based phone service. This means that a telephone socket on the back of the Virgin Fibre Hub will be enabled for your landline, and the engineer will do all the work required to get that Hub working correctly.

If you've requested any additional phone sockets as part of your install, then the engineer will connect these to the Hub line.
