Recently moved house and when I've tried to install my phone there is no dial tone.
I'm using the same phone as my last house which was with Virgin.
It is plugged into a wall socket and not the hub and is a BT8500.

Thanks for your post, and welcome to our Community Forums!
If you have moved home recently and had a new package set up there, you will most likely have been migrated to our 21CV line. Have you received an RJ11 adapter with your equipment? It will look similar to this:
Can you please try plugging the handset into the back of your Hub into the "Tel Line 1" port? Once you've plugged it into your Hub, please reboot your equipment and let me know how you get on.
