Hi, My elderly mother's home phone is not working, if I call it from my home or mobile I get the ringing tone but her phone doesn't ring, I have tried one of my old phones (that I know works) but there is nothing. I have rang Virgin to report/test the line several times, once waiting for an hour only to be cut off. My mother needs the phone as she lives on her own and her lifeline is also connected to the phone. Any help or advice would be much appreciated

Hi Corey C, I have had a look and there is a port in the hall, the connection to the living to the living room has been knocked (please see picture), I tried the phone in the port and it worked, but because of mother's situation it cannot be left in the hall, do we need to get an engineer out to fix or replace it?
