Message waiting tone

My phoneline is giving the message waiting tone even though 1571 says that I have no messages.

After one hour fifteen minuets with the help line and being told to hold while I was transferred , The call was ended.

Has anyone any idea how to get to the normal line tone?

Please can you confirm the following:

 

Are you getting the waiting tone when making a call?

Are you able to make any calls?

Are people able to call out to you?

No I am not getting the waiting call while making a call.

Yes I can make calls .

Yes I can receive calls

Apologies for the double post, I just wanted to let you know that we have taken it off the switch and put it back on - can you please check again and see if this has resolved the message waiting issue?

I will raise this with our network engineers now.

 

Can you confirm for me if you have any saved messages on your voicemail please?
