Line cord error


Since last week we have had no landline phone service. The status message throughout the week has stated that engineers were working on it. This morning, for the first time, it says the error has been resolved. However, our phone handset still states the 'line cord error' and we still have the same issue - no dial tone and the phone does not receive incoming calls.


We have a brand new handset, have reset the hub numerous times and checked all cables etc.

Please can you advise the next best course of action. It is a tad frustrating not being able to use the phone at all.

Sorry to hear of these issues with your landline! 

When you receive the 'line cord error' is this happening when you pick up the phone?

Would you be able to confirm you have the handset connected via the adapter provided, and into one of the 'TEL' sockets on the back of the hub? For more instructions on this, and some images for reference please see here. 

If this is all set up correctly but you are still without a landline service please do let us know and we will send you a PM to confirm a few details and get a technician booked in for you as soon as possible.
