Line cord error, I just noticed I have a line cord error on my VM landline
I run the landline test on the service page but it found no error
Tried another phone into the wall socket it still reports line cord error
Tried to phone my landline with my mobile I hear it ring on the mobile but the
Landline is dead.
Tried to book an Engineer's visit online but
it can't take bookings online. Tried to phone 0345 454 1111 but the waiting time is in excess of one hour not enough cash in my mobile to hang on for an hour So as it suggests above I'll ask the community. Any advice anyone.
I checked with my neighbour, although they have a phone in their package they don't use or have a socket for one 😐

We have optimised our processes to allow engineers to complete as much action as possible externally before needing to visit the property. If we're able to sort the issue without entering your home, we'll do just that!
