Line cord error message

My land line does not work at all, I have checked the phones are charged and all cables are ok

all I get is a message,line cord error please check

Sorry for the issue with your landline. I've taken a look into this and can see action has already been taken to get this sorted, please let us know how that goes or if there's anything else we can help with in the meantime.

Hi

i managed to get an engineer booked for Friday 10 October 

this I am told was the first available but I explained to the customer service guy that that leaves me in a real mess, my wife is disabled and has recently had hospital visits and is waiting for important calls from the hospital so we need the phone urgently, 

no phone till Friday will mean we miss calls from the hospital that we have been waiting for for months

anything you can do to get a Monday or Tuesday engineering appointment would be amazing

any help is appreciated

I can try and see if we can bring this forward for you 

However I do need to tell you it might not be possible 

I have the details of the booking from here 

Can I get back to you first thing tomorrow as we have no engineers or Service managers out at present

if you could that would be great, as I said my wife cannot afford to miss these hospital calls, it will mean she is put back months in her treatment

Hi all

thanks for the reply but the date really isn’t acceptable 

As I’ve said if we miss these calls it will put us back medically so much

please escalate this to a senior manager, there must be something in place for emergencies which this is

Thanks for replying Steve, 

 

I can certainly appreciate, and we certainly are aiming to get an earlier slot. So I will be checking through out the day. However as Tom stated and when I checked this morning. There were not slots available, we do aim to book them as quickly as possible. I will be checking throughout the day, but it is not likely to be today or Tuesday as you are requesting.
